BREAKING NEWS: Exclusive picture of the man who recently wrote threats to Anita Sarkeesian on twitter.
He has been identified by a female police officer as Aneto Serkaasien, the CEO of the Men’s Rights Movement and president of 4chan. The (female) police officer, who conveniently asked to remain anonymous (even though she is a very brave woman), claims that Aneto is very dangerous and armed with weapons of mass misogyny.

You might be saying, well Rachel, why are you picking on Anita. I’m not. I’m going to present some facts. Nothing more and nothing less.

One year ago Anita Sarkeesian had a massive amount of views on her videos even within the first day.

Now look at her most recent video. It isn’t…

loltaku:

I have generally avoiding even mentioning Anita, mainly because she’s not a journalist she can say and make anything she wants, but what the fuck.
I went through her site and youtube, and I still cannot find any content other than her Tropes vs. Women videos. Which are already paid for. She got 158,000 dollars to make them. It was kind of a big deal.
So, why is she asking for monthly contributions? And why is she asking for them through her own personal site, where, unlike Patreon,
Nobody gets to see how much she’s receiving a month, allowing transparency
Nobody gets to see whom is contributing money to her
And there’s no way for her to offer more content if certain goals are met.
And while I’m at it, let’s look at the text on her donation page.

All Feminist Frequency videos are available on YouTube to watch and share for free without any advertising. We are a 501(c)3 non profit charity and we rely on generous donations from viewers to make these educational videos possible.

Do you mean the videos you were paid 158,000 dollars to make, are making at the most glacial pace imaginable, which are also the only content you’ve produced?

You’ve gone too far. You’re going to rant and rave about one of the strongest female characters in film history. Because she takes off her blood, sweat and alien goop covered jumpsuit to relax? Oh right, people in real life don’t take off their clothes.

Remember when I talked about feminists who look for reasons to be offended? This is exactly what I was talking about.
It’s one thing to enjoy playing video games and happen by a scene which is genuinely fucked up (I mean chances are it was intended to be fucked up; it’s like people complaining about the violence and drug use in Far Cry games), but it’s entirely another thing to grind through something you don’t even enjoy for a demographic you evidently dislike playing content that you barely understand, removing context and information, just so you can have a reason to take offence. It’s pathetic.

This is a truly amazing story of twin sisters separated at birth who discovered each other at age 25 through social media (see Facebook message above in which Anais reached out to Samantha for the first time). One lives in London and the other in L.A. and the two have shared a close bond since meeting. They recently took a trip together to their birthplace, Seoul, Korea, and now they’re hoping to make a film together about their story. Check out their kickstarter campaign here. Story via buzzfeed.
